| About TVEN During the planning of the 2005 National Women's Leadership Conference hosted at the new Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, by local DFW ABWA groups, it was very noticeable that ABWA no longer had a presence in the community in which we were hosting this National Conference. The Conference General Chair, Vicki Marlett began planning and pulled the Formation Team together in the summer of 2006. In January 2007, The Texas Vineyards Express Network was chartered in Grapevine with over (40) members. The Texas Vineyards Express Network consists of members devoted to conducting streamlined meetings, focusing on networking and professional development. The goal of the meetings is getting members “in and out” within 90 minutes. TVEN Officers are empowered with the management of the groups and brief updates are provided at the monthly meetings. The focus is to provide a dynamic and enriching experience for the busy woman. Networking is also a strong component of TVEN meetings, giving women great opportunities to socialize and promote their business acumen for their targeted career goals. The ability to grow their business is available through vendor tables, advertisements in the local newsletter and website, and by presentations to the group. TVEN meets on the 4th Wednesday of every month. |
